When choosing the style of headboard, consider which will best suit with the divan base.

A deep divan looks elegant with an upholstered to the floor, euro headboard. Euro headboards are available in the same width as the divan (euro-slim) or slightly wider than the divan (euro-wide).

A traditional strutted headboard design, which simply rises from the top of the mattress, will therefore offer a more simplistic finish.

Alternatively, if the divan base is shallow a contemporary shallow-style headboard will create a floating-like bedstead effect.

For something special, Hypnos offer a bespoke service of upholstering your headboard in your own fabric. This will give a unique finish to your bedroom and coordinate beautifully with your decor.
