Roman blinds are pulled up with cords to create soft horizontal folds, these are supported by rods inserted into tape  or lining pockets at the back of the blind.

Roman blinds look very smart with contrast borders or trimmed with fringes or beads. Alternatively place a simple strip of contrast fabric along the lower edge.

Select a fabric with light diminishing qualities to help block out light or select a reflective backing for south facing windows.
